New Website Launched for NH Voices for Health: Another Local Link Solution
Greenland, August 22, 2011 – One of NH Voices for Health’s goals for 2011 was to revitalize their web presence. They needed their site to become a more effective tool for communicating with their members, as well take on a more active role in reaching out to the public. NH Voices chose to work with Local Link for this project, developing a website design that reflects their organizations mission, and site functionality that helps them meet their goals. The recently launched site has been a success on all fronts.
As a non-profit organization based around the collaboration of staff and volunteer efforts, NH Voices required a system that would make edits and updates easy for multiple editors. The content management system (CMS) employed for this site does that and more. NH Voices’ editors can create, update and flag for review all kinds of content, from press releases to calendar events. Since their successful training session with Local Link, editors have been developing content for their site even before its launch.
“Knowing that user collaboration and self-sufficiently were the key components in this project, going with a CMS solution was an easy decision,” said Donna Bungard, Art Director at Local Link. “It was great to work with such a dedicated organization, and be able to give them the tools that they’ll need going forward.”
